By registering for, making payment toward, or participating in any Pack It Up Getaways experience, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Registration

A completed registration and any required payment are necessary to secure your reservation.

Payment requirements vary by event and may include full payment, a deposit, or a payment plan. Specific payment requirements will be communicated during registration.

Registration is not confirmed until any required payment has been received.

2. Payment Plans (When Offered)

Some Pack It Up Getaways experiences offer optional payment plans as a courtesy.

When a payment plan is offered:

• Travelers are responsible for making all scheduled payments by the stated due dates.

• Failure to complete payment by the final payment deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation.

• Payments already made remain subject to the cancellation policy outlined below.

Not all Pack It Up Getaways experiences offer payment plans.

3. Cancellations & Refund Policy

All payments made to Pack It Up Getaways are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific event.

Because Pack It Up Getaways commits funds in advance for campsites, cruise cabins, accommodations, activities, venues, meals, permits, entertainment, supplies, administrative expenses, and vendor services, refunds cannot be issued due to:

• Personal emergencies

• Illness or injury

• Schedule conflicts

• Transportation delays

• Missed departures

• Weather affecting your personal travel

• Changes in employment

• Family emergencies

• No-shows

• Early departures

• Unused services

If Pack It Up Getaways cancels an event for reasons within our control, participants may be offered either:

• a future event credit, or

• a refund,

at the sole discretion of Pack It Up Getaways.

Refunds or credits will not be issued for circumstances covered under the Force Majeure section below.

4. Trip Changes & Event Modifications

Pack It Up Getaways reserves the right to modify itineraries, schedules, accommodations, campsites, activities, transportation, vendors, or event details when necessary due to:

• Weather

• Safety concerns

• Operational needs

• Vendor changes

• Unforeseen circumstances

Reasonable substitutions do not constitute grounds for a refund.

5. Event-Specific Policies

Certain Pack It Up Getaways experiences may include additional event-specific policies regarding:

• Room or cabin occupancy

• Tent assignments

• Camping equipment

• RV accommodations

• Transportation

• Excursions

• Age requirements

• Pets

• Check-in/check-out procedures

• Payment schedules

By registering for an event, participants agree to both these General Terms & Conditions and any event-specific policies communicated during registration.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

• Follow all Pack It Up Getaways policies.

• Follow all venue, campground, cruise line, hotel, airline, transportation, and vendor rules.

• Treat fellow travelers, staff, and property with respect.

• Arrive on time for scheduled activities and departures.

Parents and legal guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times.

Pack It Up Getaways is not responsible for unattended minors.

7. Health & Safety

Participants agree:

• Not to attend while experiencing a contagious illness.

• To disclose any medical conditions that may require emergency attention during the trip.

• To carry all necessary medications.

Certain destinations or suppliers may require additional documentation, vaccinations, identification, or health requirements.

8. Code of Conduct

Pack It Up Getaways is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.

The following behaviors may result in immediate removal from an event without refund:

• Harassment

• Violence

• Threatening behavior

• Illegal drug use

• Excessive intoxication

• Destruction of property

• Discrimination

• Failure to follow safety instructions

• Behavior that jeopardizes the experience or safety of others

Participants removed from an event are responsible for all resulting transportation and lodging expenses.

9. Media Release

Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event, participants grant Pack It Up Getaways permission to photograph or record them during events.

These photos and videos may be used for:

• Social media

• Marketing

• Website content

• Promotional materials

• Future event advertising

Parents or legal guardians grant permission on behalf of participating minors.

10. Travel Insurance

Because payments are generally non-refundable, Pack It Up Getaways strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

Travel insurance may help cover:

• Trip cancellation

• Trip interruption

• Medical emergencies

• Lost luggage

• Travel delays

• Weather disruptions

• Supplier insolvency

Failure to purchase travel insurance does not create any obligation for Pack It Up Getaways to issue refunds.

11. Force Majeure

Pack It Up Getaways shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, losses, injuries, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Hurricanes

• Flooding

• Severe weather

• Wildfires

• Pandemics

• Government restrictions

• Civil unrest

• Labor strikes

• Airline cancellations

• Supplier failures

• Natural disasters

• Acts of God

In such situations, Pack It Up Getaways will make reasonable efforts to reschedule, obtain credits, or secure comparable services when possible.

12. Payment Processing Fees

Credit card processing fees and other third-party payment processing fees are non-refundable.

If a refund is approved under an applicable exception, processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

13. Limitation of Liability

Pack It Up Getaways serves as a coordinator of travel experiences and contracts with independent suppliers including, but not limited to:

• Cruise lines

• Hotels

• Campgrounds

• Transportation providers

• Tour operators

• Activity vendors

Pack It Up Getaways is not responsible for:

• Supplier negligence

• Delays

• Injuries

• Lost baggage

• Property damage

• Missed connections

• Mechanical failures

• Acts or omissions of third-party vendors

Participants assume all risks associated with travel and participation.

14. Acknowledgment

By registering for an event, submitting payment, or participating in any Pack It Up Getaways experience, you acknowledge that you:

• Have read these Terms & Conditions.

• Understand the cancellation and refund policy.

• Agree to all event-specific policies.

• Accept the risks associated with travel and participation.

• Agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

PACK IT UP GETAWAYS

Participant Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Pack It Up Getaways experiences may include activities such as camping, hiking, swimming, beach activities, cruising, sightseeing, transportation, outdoor recreation, and other travel-related activities that involve inherent risks.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to:

• Personal injury

• Illness

• Property damage

• Theft

• Accidents

• Weather-related hazards

• Animal or insect encounters

• Transportation incidents

I certify that I (and any minor children included in my registration) am physically able to participate in the activities selected.

I agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Pack It Up Getaways, its owner, employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of participation, except where prohibited by law or resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I understand that I am responsible for maintaining appropriate health insurance and that Pack It Up Getaways does not provide medical insurance.

Parents and legal guardians acknowledge responsibility for supervising their minor children throughout the event.

I authorize emergency medical treatment if I am unable to provide consent and understand that I am responsible for all resulting medical expenses.

I understand that this waiver is binding upon myself, my heirs, assigns, executors, and legal representatives.
